Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (London) and Bund Deutscher Übersetzer. I provide meticulously crafted, bespoke translations from German to English. Specialisms include academic and policy articles, reports, books and websites, especially in the fields of history, policy and politics, and sociology; art, textiles and fashion; marketing and legal texts; proofreading and editing.

Translation Specialisms

History, economics, politics (including policy briefs and position papers), sociology; contemporary art, including exhibition catalogues and captions, textiles, design and fashion; literature and literary theory, including gender theory and postcolonialism; legal (general legal texts) and HR; proofreading and editing, including post-editing. Currently I am translating a monograph on Germany and its fascination with exports, while other projects include translating for two German arts universities and editing for a Berlin think-tank on migration and integration. From 2023-24, I was engaged as copy-editor for the Routledge Handbook of Economic Expectations, a recently published, edited volume featuring 33 essays by internationally renowned economists and historians. My 2025 translation of an essay on two seminal female artists by the art historians Antje Schunke and Dr Maryna Streltsova for Kunsthalle Rostock is  currently  under review for the Zeitschrift für Kunstgeschichte.
